Founded by Frances Ladson, Daily Bread Child Care Development Center was created from a deep passion for helping children grow with love and guidance. What began as a small, family-focused program has grown into a trusted child care center serving Laurinburg, NC. Frances and her dedicated team are committed to building a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn through creativity, music, and play.

Our Philosophy & Curriculum
At Daily Bread, learning is centered around each child’s unique potential. We use the Creative Curriculum, combining structure and exploration to make learning joyful and engaging. Our teachers encourage independence, imagination, and curiosity through storytelling, art, and music — including keyboard lessons that help children express themselves through rhythm and song. We also use positive guidance and small group interactions to foster emotional growth, kindness, and respect for others.

Frances Ladson, Owner and Director, brings years of experience in early childhood education and holds an AAS degree in the field. Her leadership reflects her belief that children learn best when surrounded by love, encouragement, and consistency. Under her direction, Daily Bread Child Care has become known for its personal attention, caring staff, and commitment to affordable, high-quality child care for families across Laurinburg and the surrounding areas.

Our center offers bright, welcoming classrooms and safe outdoor play areas designed for exploration and fun. The fenced yard and secured entry system ensure that children can learn and play freely in a safe environment.

Your child’s safety is our highest priority. Our campus features locked entry access, a fenced playground, and security cameras for internal monitoring. All staff members complete criminal background checks and are trained to maintain a secure, healthy environment. We also participate in the CACFP food program, providing nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks daily.
